This workshop will cover drone safety which will explain some of the best practices and things that an
operator should be aware of when operating a drone in a commercial film setting. We will explain best
practices for preflight location scouting and flight authorization through LAANC and FAA Waivers. You
will also learn about the different types and sizes of drones and how to select the right drone for the task at
hand. We will discuss and demonstrate different types of shots that can be made with a drone and what
those shots can be used for. The workshop will end by demonstrating what a camera operator/pilot team
looks and functions like.
