One Matchstick: The Senga Fire

For more than 2,000 years, the Senga people of Zambia could not hear God speak their mother tongue. Though they desired to know and understand the Bible, their tribe was deemed too small to receive a translation. To interact with God’s Word in any meaningful way, the Senga were required to learn the languages of neighboring tribes. God seemed to be only the God of other people, not a God they could hear and speak to in their churches, homes, and families. One Matchstick follows their journey to getting God’s Word in a language and format they understand.
